Recertification File Upload

Certification is granted for a period of three years from the date of graduation. Graduates are expected to be recertified every three years by participating in a variety of activities, including, but not limited to, participating in educational events (such as attending webinars, national and state professional conferences), writing articles, mentoring staff, etc.

CGCIO Requirements: Minimum 60 Contact hours over a three-year period
CGDSP Requirements: Minimum 40 Contact hours over a three-year period

All contact hours must occur before the expiration date shown on your most recent certificate.

Beginning in 2026, PTI Members can renew their CGCIO certification at no cost. If you are a PTI Member, enter your Membership ID below to activate the discount. Please note: This policy only applies to certifications that expire starting in 2026. If you are renewing a certification that expired before 2026, you will still need to pay the $250 recertification fee.

Your recertification is not complete until full payment is received. Checks or credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover) will be accepted for payment. All invoice payments are due within 30 days of registration.
