50 Years of Learning, Connecting & Keeping It Groovy

2026 is shaping up to be one far-out year at Fusion Learning Partners, formerly GTS Educational Events. We’re celebrating 50 years of bringing government and nonprofit professionals together to learn, connect, share ideas, and make good things happen.

But hold onto your bell-bottoms, because 50 is only the beginning of the celebration.

Our Public Technology Institute (PTI) is marking 55 years of empowering local government technology leaders through education, consulting, professional development, and a community that knows we’re better when we work together.

And the hits just keep coming. Our GOVIT Leadership Summit & Symposium turns 45, celebrating more than four decades as the nation’s longest-running IT conference dedicated to state and local government.

That gives us 50 years of Fusion. 55 years of PTI. 45 years of GOVIT. That’s a whole lot of history, learning, innovation, and seriously good vibes.

As we celebrate, we’re looking back with pride, but we’re not stuck in the past. The future is calling, and we’re answering. We’re ready to keep experimenting, innovating, connecting people, and finding new ways to serve our communities.

Built over 50 years. Ready for what’s next.

Need Accessibility Accommodations?

Fusion Learning Partners is committed to providing access to all conference participants. Please share any accessibility needs you may have during the conference, including requests for auxiliary aids or services such as sign language interpretation, captioning, mobility access, dietary accommodations, prayer or reflection space, or other supports.

Some accommodations and space needs require advance coordination with vendors, venue staff, and conference staff. To help us plan effectively, requests should be submitted at least 3 weeks prior to the event. We will make reasonable efforts to meet requests received after that date as resources and feasibility allow.

For accommodations such as sign language interpretation or captioning, Fusion may follow up with you before the conference to coordinate coverage across sessions, meals, networking activities, and other conference programming.

If you have any questions regarding your accessibility accommodations, please reach out to Ian Jordan at [email protected].
